ZS2 Technologies launches first commercial negative carbon cement factory
ZS2 Technologies has officially launched North America’s first commercial-scale, negative-carbon magnesium oxide (MgO) cement plant.
The facility produces ZS2’s Gen 2 materials by combining low-cost, “off-spec” magnesite with mineral-rich Western Canadian saline brines, directly integrating captured CO₂ into the mix. The result is a stronger, lower-cost product backed by a 100% localized North American supply chain—eliminating long-distance shipping emissions and completely bypassing international tariffs
