Christopher Cline has over 30 years of experience in the fields of finance, operations management, and mergers & acquisitions, and business development.
Between 1993 and 2003, Mr. Cline served as Chief Financial Officer at ACTV, Inc, a publicly traded interactive television company. In 2000, he originated and managed completion of $138 million follow-on-equity financing in cooperation with CSFB, Salomon Smith Barney, Bear Stearns, and Lehman Brothers. He also restructured preferred stock issuance at the company, resulting in savings of several million shares of potential dilution. Prior to his position at ACTV, he served as President and CEO of Showcase Communications Network, Ltd, a multimedia publishing and computer software company. After introducing their product to the market in late 1992, Showcase Communications saw a 200% increase in subscriber sales over a five-month period.
Previous to Showcase Network, Mr. Cline was a Vice President at the Intercontinental Trade & Finance Corp, where he closed over 60 debt arbitrage and trading transitions. Between 1980 and 1987, Mr. Cline served in various positions at Citicorp Investment Bank and Citibank Argentina, managing valuations, mergers & acquisitions transactions, private placement, and interest rate/currency swaps. As Vice President of the Specialized Finance Division, Mr. Cline managed unconventional trade finance transactions and originated and closed several unique, prototype transactions.
Mr. Cline holds an MBA in Finance and Investment Management from Stanford Business School and a B.A. from Haverford College.
