Portfolio Update: Commercial Sales Underway for Nanocrine's Gold-Coated Glass Substrates

15 Jul 2026

Gold Coated Glass Substrate Products Now Being Sold

Nanocrine’s technology makes live-cell communications visible in real time and has research applications in cancer metastasis, cellular senescence, immune system health, and neurodegenerative diseases.

In important recent developments, the Company has:

  • Hired Dr. Chung Liu, MD, PhD (most recently at the NIH), allowing the lab to operate 24/7 and significantly increasing experimental turnaround time.

  • Added two paying customers for its gold coated glass substrate products, showing that its thin film manufacturing capabilities generate standalone commercial revenue beyond the core imaging platform.

  • Two ongoing paid projects with the NIH, through the National Cancer Institute and the Institute of Translational Health Science.

  • Raised $550K toward its $750K bridge financing goal, with convertible notes still open to fill the remaining $200K gap (and eligible for the TEDCO matching grant).

  • Submitted a joint application with NCI for a $750K grant to support triple-negative breast cancer research; NCI is fully committed to the project, with allocated staff and other resources.

  • Entered a research partnership with Advanced In Vitro, a life science company specializing in preparing and preserving human tissue samples - particularly lung tissue - in a form that remains biologically active ex vivo.
