Nanocrine Partners with Advanced In Vitro
Nanocrine is developing a real-time protein imaging platform that allows scientists to observe exactly what cells are secreting as it happens.
Recent updates include:
Nanocrine secured a new paying customer for its gold-coated glass substrates. This sale demonstrates that its manufacturing capabilities have standalone commercial value independent of its core imaging platform. The Company has partnered with Advanced In Vitro to measure signaling events directly from biologically active human tissue preparations. This represents the first time Nanocrine's technology will be used on human tissue, expanding its scientific credibility beyond standard two-dimensional cell cultures.
The Company is developing a "Universal Antibody Chip" pre-functionalized with Protein A/G. This will allow researchers to use the platform in a plug-and-play manner without needing specialized surface chemistry knowledge.
Nanocrine is in early-stage conversations with companies in the biomanufacturing sector. The platform's high-resolution data will dramatically accelerate the time-consuming process of developing clonal cell lines.
