Robert Callahan has over sixteen years of international and domestic investment banking and private placement experience, having worked with companies in the United States, Canada, England, France, Israel, Greece, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Russia and Yugoslavia. Prior to founding Callahan & Associates in 1997, Mr. Callahan served as a principal of Cross Border Enterprises, LLC, a New York-based merchant bank focused on private placements of equity and equity-related securities for international middle market companies. Mr. Callahan was based in Paris from 1992 until 1994 as a consultant to small and medium sized companies seeking to raise money in the U. S. Capital Markets. From 1991 until 1992, he was a Managing Director at Bedford Capital Corporation where he assisted companies in the paper and forest products industry with their investment banking needs including project financing, management buyouts and private placements of equity and debt securities. From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Callahan was an Assistant Vice President at Mabon Nugent & Co. where he assisted a variety of domestic and international clients with corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in the media and communications, shipping, paper and forest products, financial services and automotive industries.

Mr. Callahan received his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law in 1986, where he was Notes Editor of the Law Review, and his BS Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 1983.
